We are pleased to announce that Mary Kathryn King has rejoined King & Wood, P.A., as a Summer Law Clerk. MK was graduated from the Florida State University College of Law (J.D.,magna cum laude) in May 2020. She was a Staff Editor on the Florida State University Law Review and a member of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. She served as a research assistant to Prof. Nat Stern. She received four book awards. MK will sit for the Florida Bar exam in July. In September 2020 she will begin work as an Assistant State Attorney in the Office of the State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit, in Jacksonville, Florida. Mary Kathryn was graduated from the University of Florida (B.A., summa cum laude) in May 2016 with majors in English and Political Science, and minors in Russian and Spanish. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Florida Blue Key, and was named an Outstanding Four-Year Scholar. During school year 2016-17, MK taught English as a second language at Samtskhe-Javakheti State University in Akhaltsikhe, Republic of Georgia, under a grant from the U.S. Department of State’s Fulbright Program. MK is a 2012 graduate of Maclay School.
